Submit Domains

Validin Enterprise Users are able to submit domains directly back to Validin for immediate scanning.

Prerequisites

1. Validin Enterprise Account

Usage

You can submit domains to Validin via UI and via the following API call: /api/axon/submissions/domains. Additional documentation is available here.

Submitting domains will trigger the following actions:

1. Add domains to Validin's master domain list
   1. Validin will track any submitted domains indefinitely
      1. Check DNS at least once daily
      2. Crawl at least once every two weeks
2. Trigger an immediate DNS rescan
3. Trigger follow-up web crawls over HTTP/S on ports 80 and 443 over the next 5 days

Enterprise users can submit up to 10,000 domains at a time via UI or API.

When to submit domains to Validin?

Here are some criteria that might prompt domain submissions to Validin:

1. Domains that have never been observed on Validin
2. You want to trigger an immediate rescan of these domains
