Manage account password

Validin's primary authentication method is password-based login.

If you have previously disabled password authentication, follow the steps below to re-enable password-based authentication for your account.

SSO Restriction

If your organization has enabled Single Sign-On (SSO) and disabled password authentication, you cannot re-enable password authentication on your account.

Reset a forgotten password

Follow these steps if you've forgotten your password and need to reset it:

1. Navigate to the Validin Login page and click the Forgot Password? link located beneath the login fields.

2. Enter the email address associated with your Validin account in the Email field and click Submit.

3. Check your email for a message from Validin Support with the subject "Password Reset Request." Open the email and click the Reset Password link.

If you cannot receive the password reset email, please contact the Validin Support Team for manual assistance:

4. You will be redirected to the Set New Password page. Enter your new password in the New Password field.

5. Re-enter your new password in the Confirm Password field to verify it matches.

6. Ensure your password meets the security requirements: at least 10 characters, including an uppercase letter, a number, and a special character.

7. Click the Save New Password button to complete the process.

Once completed, you'll be redirected to the login page where you can access your account using your new credentials.

Change your password (while logged in)

If you're already logged into Validin and want to update your password, follow these steps:

1. Click the Profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

2. Select Profile from the dropdown menu.

3. Click the Change Password button.

4. Enter your current password in the Current Password field.

5. Enter your desired new password in the New Password field.

6. Re-enter your new password in the Confirm New Password field to verify it matches.

7. Click the Save button to update your password.

Your password will be updated immediately, and you can continue using Validin with your new credentials.
